As NJ State Commander, I went on a Refueling flight yesterday with the Commanders &
Vice Commanders of each Veterans Association,
as a guest of Col. Stephen Abel, Deputy Commissioner of NJ Military & Veterans Affairs.
 If the opportunity ever presents itself, take the flight.
 
It was great seeing up close how the Air National Guard performs a daily function.
Although the Fueling Boom is quite long, it seems like the plane being refueled is only a short distance.
With the zoom on the camera, you can see the Pilots smiling.   The KC-135 refueled a C-5A several times.
Each of us was able to see the planes hook up & drop away.
